Hi, I have an NC2 that's currently just a street car. I will likely convert it to a street/track HPDE car at some point down the road. I'd like to give it a power bump now as a street car that will also be suitable for track use in the future. I'm currently considering a short stroke 2.5L, which is very early in its development at Dynotronics, as well as the FMSC from Flyin Miata, which seems to be a tried and true power solution for the NC platform. I tried searching this subforum and didn't find much info on the reliability of the FMSC when used on a track car. Ambient temps get pretty hot where I live (mid 90's F) during summer season, and I have enough track experience that the car will be pushed hard. Will an FMSC-equipped NC stand up to hard track use in hot weather? What supporting mods would be needed? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
